Using the Tools

You will be given a set of tools, including a timeline, an investigation pack and a story journal and some interactive maps. These will help you to explore and understand the times, places and events that link the Irish famine to Liverpool. Remember you are in control! You can choose whichever tools you like to help you answer the questions.

The Guide

If you get stuck you can always ask the guide for help!

Michael's help and advice changes with the questions. If you are having difficulties working out what your next move should be then Michael can put you on the right track. The help provided by the guide will never answer a question for you but will provide hints as to where to look or what tool you should use to find an answer.

Videos

Each section has a video that introduces the topic. Once you answer all the questions in a section and receive your award you will automatically see the video for the next section.

Launching Video's out of order

if you use the menu to travel to a section or you just want to view the videos again you can click the Titles in the middle of each background to launch the video for that section.
